Arise and Shine

Where do we find ourselves in our faith journey? Do we live with a constant reminder of our past mistakes or do we live with a constant reminder of how God restored us? Do we daily access all that He so freely give us? 

“….the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10 AMP)

He “make you what you ought to be”.. He renew your mind with Godly wisdom so that you can clearly grasp your true identity..

It is only in God that we discover our origin, our identity, our meaning.. purpose…significance… destiny… In His likeness.. Not that we need to try harder to be more like Him (for it is not by our own effort that we are saved), But that we will be awaken to His truth revealed.. That we will begin to understand how He fully included us in His death and resurrection… and gave us authority to speak life, to heal the sick, to encourage and do miracles in His mighty name.. 

“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.” (John 14:12-13 AMP)

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:1-2 NIVUK)
