God desire for us to have a healthy self-esteem that accurately reflect our dependence in Him…

We tend to live our lives according to our opinion about ourselves.. if we feel as if we have nothing to offer.. we will act that way.. Self-respect is like a self-fulfilling prophecy… If you believe you have what it takes to win at life, you will most likely confirm your own prediction.

Every time we say or think: “I’m not pretty or smart enough.. I’m not skinny or funny enough… I’m not successful enough,” we are denying that we are fearfully and wonderfully made..

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewellery or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”

Let our self-worth be depended on our character, attitude, generosity and faithfulness.. And most importantly.. on God’s opinion about us!
