Arise and Shine

Joy is a characteristic of the fruit of the spirit..

It is a supernatural response to life. That is why it is a fruit of the Spirit and not of your personality.

“I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.”(John 15:11 AMP)

He says “My joy.” Jesus literally place in you..the joy that He has.

There is a difference between happiness and joy… Happiness depends upon what happens to you. If the circumstances are right, then you will be happy.

Joy comes from within. You can have joy even when you are going through rough circumstances.

When you invite Jesus into your life.. You also invite joy into your life.

The only way to have joy is to turn what does not make you joyous over to God.

“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. “(Psalm 16:11 AMP)

Even during tough times, the core of your joy, is going to be in your relationship with God. Get absolutely immersed in all things of God….(Read His word, study it, pray..)

And then.. know the joy that comes from being so well grounded in the Word.
