Arise and Shine

“… but be an example (pattern) for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12 AMP)

Be an inspiring example to all those that God has entrusted into your care.. For even if you do not realise it.. They are surely watching… They watch your attitude, your responses, relationships and behaviour. We need to move towards blessing and increase in everything we do… Lead by example. For some people you would be the only bible they ever ‘read’

And what perfect example we have in Jesus.

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1 NIVUK)

He came to earth not as an example ‘to’ us.. But as an example ‘of’ us!

Paul wrote to Timothy..

But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect long-suffering and patience for an example to [encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [the gaining of] eternal life. (1 Timothy 1:16 AMP)

Paul also lead by God’s example and told the people of Philippi..

“Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.” (Philippians 4:9 AMP)

To lead by example.. God wants you to prosper and excel spiritually.. And it is not necessary to add pressure to this statement.. for all you have to be is what God calls you to be. You were created in the likeness of God! You are equipped with all the blessings and ability to lead by example..

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. (3 John 1:2 AMP)
