I read a quote from Saint Francis of Assisi… “Preach the Gospel to everyone and use words if necessary.” Being a living example of God’s grace .. Is a powerful testimony of who God is… and yes.. A lot of times it is also necessary to use words..to testify to the faithfulness of God in our fears, trials and temptations.

When we experience moments where God has miraculously provided or healed or helped us through a difficult situation..  it is powerful to share this testimony.. For God is able to use your victory.. (your answered prayers and the breakthrough He provided) to bless those around you! When people can relate to what you’ve been through and see how God was able to bring restoration and healing into your life.. They can start to see how it is also possible for them! They start to realise how included they are in Christ and it will encourage them to trust God even in their own situation and circumstances!

O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known His doings among the peoples! (1 Chronicles 16:8 AMP)

But we [ourselves] cannot help telling what we have seen and heard. (Acts 4:20 AMP)

When we speak His truth.. when we acknowledge what He has done in our lives and share that with others.. It is not us that impact.. but the Holy Spirit that is working before us,  within us and through us..

“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. “(Romans 8:16 NIVUK)

Your testimony can be that God provides for you everyday… That He saved you from a false sense of identity.. that He placed people around you that could help you through a difficult time.. Your testimony might seem insignificant or you might think it falls on deaf ears.. But ask God to use your testimony to give witness to the great things He has done for you… to bring glory to God’s kingdom.
